In addition to being the 2022-23 Chair of the Association for Science Education, Helen was until very recently the chemistry curriculum specialist for the University of York Science Education Group’s BEST project. Helen is now expanding upon her UK and international curriculum consultancy work as well as pursuing projects involving the authoring of science resources for schools. As a former science teacher, Helen has been a member of ASE for almost 25 years and is passionate about conveying the importance of subject associations and the huge professional and personal benefits that being actively involved with ASE can bring.
